Volunteer For Muslim Mobility

Muslim Mobility is seeking volunteers to work, whenever and as available, to perform vehicle inspections and valuations, conduct needs assessments, to answer email and USPS mail inquiries, and volunteer as drivers to take qualified Muslim recipients to and from jumu’ah, ta’leem, medical and dental appointments, essential shopping, and authorized excursions or outings that inure to the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health of the individuals, couples and/or families. Drivers must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and must be insurable.

Important Note:

Our fleet is housed at various locations. We do not provide the location of our vehicles in order to prevent vandalism and other unwarranted occurrences, and to avoid unscheduled visits and molestation of vehicles, staff, employees and volunteers.

All services are handled by the case manager assigned to each applicant and/or successful recipient. The Case Managers are volunteers who use their personal cellphones to contact applicants and recipients. All Case Managers’ contact information is to be held in strict confidence by all applicants and recipients. No applicant or recipient may give out or share or publish or distribute any personal telephone numbers or emails of a Case Manager without the written permission of the Case Manager. Written permission can be via text or email and no oral approvals are permitted. Violation of this provision may eliminate the applicant from the process, jeopardize services, or cause the applicant to lose the opportunity to receive a vehicle.

Due to COVID-19 and health and safety protocols, all transportation services and donations are handled in the field and door-to-door. No applicants or recipients are permitted to come to the offices of Muslim Mobility.

Everyone must use the online portal to communicate with Muslim Mobility unless assigned a Case Manager, in which case the Case Manager will speak directly to them.
